The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the sport’s richest and most prestigious rodeo, showcases the world’s best contestants and stock. Indian cowboys, defending World Champion, Navajo, Erich Rogers, recent World Champion Aaron Tsinigine, the legend Derrick Begay and Oglala Lakota, Shane O’Connell are our contingency for the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association 2018 World Titles. The 10-day championship event, held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas every December, has enjoyed sold-out attendance for 33 years. In 2017, 168,952 fans cheered 119 of rodeo’s superstars at the 59th “Super Bowl” of rodeo, in which over $10 million was paid out to contestants who won or placed in rounds.
Indian contestants will be featured win, lose or draw in our daily reports including interviews with ProRodeos favorite stars. Each of the 10 rounds pay $26,230 to win and the best on 10 will earn $67,269, it is an exciting time for our Native American and First Nation Canadian contestants.
